Halo is gone,nobody talks about it anymore

Halo is a pretty cool game, but the 2nd and third installments lost my intrest in the series
as such i won't return to playing halo unless it meets halo 1's standards

im just waiting for a 4th one because the 3rd,2nd,and 1st one are old now

new installments, and the glitter they add to the game saddens me.
with the memory and the processing power in the X-360 they could ditch the graphics(halo 1 was fine)
and use the extra memory and cpu usage for a longer and more engaging story, with possible charges for side stories, and extra levels.
it's easier to make, less costly and more gratifying to the player.but graphics power and the way that stuff looks gets in the way of other things. the more people want in the area of graphical power the less they get in the department of story, interactivity, and longevity.
simply put a less graphical more involved halo would be greatly appreciated and would have the respect the original did.
